The Yarn Lab
The Washington Neighborhood Center has teamed up with
Khaos Crafts to provide a free yarn art program The Yarn Lab.
The Yarn Lab brings with it a new era of crochet.
We listen to music, hang out, get creative, and have fun all while crocheting in a group.
The Yarn Lab offers a place to EXPLORE. LEARN. & CREATE with yarn. Although we currently specialize in crochet all fiber arts are welcome to attend and participate.
The Yarn Lab gives the community a place to come together and crochet, to get to know other people in your community that also have an interest in crochet. We offer a place for families with young children to join in on the fun of crochet. We are a kid-friendly yarn group. All skill levels and ages are welcome. Our goal is to make this a place where you can spend a few hours creating in yarn with like-minded, family-friendly people.
We have a large selection of yarn donated by generous community members provided free of charge: yarn and hooks. You can also bring your own supplies and/or project to work on, also.
Every month we will provide a free amigurumi project for those that are interested.
The yarn lab meets every 3rd Saturday from 1:00-3:00pm.

It takes a village, let’s make this happen!
